CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Cordele police are asking for tips after leads in a homicide investigation slowed down. Tellis Fort was murdered outside his home May 14th.
Nearly two weeks later, police say there are no witnesses nor suspects.
"This is a very difficult case. It's what you call a "who done it" because there were no actual witnesses to it that we know of. We got there, found a body. And that was it. They're very difficult to work cases like that," said Cordele Police Chief Bobby Hooper.
Chief Hooper said they have not determined a motive in the murder.
