THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) -  A Thomasville woman was arrested Monday after witnesses told police she threatened people with a gun.

Ambraja Cooper, 20, was charged with aggravated assault.

Officers arrived at 108 Mulberry Street around 10:42 a.m. after hearing Cooper was threatening to kill her family members with a revolver.

But when police got there, they couldn't find the gun.

Lt. Maurice Holmes with the Thomasville Police Department said, “She was armed with a weapon, when the officers responded, with a hacksaw. She had it in her hand as she stood on the porch of the residence, yelling and cursing at the individuals inside the home.”

Officers continue to investigate.
