Two jailed after traffic stop

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A seatbelt violation landed an Albany man in jail on felony drug charges.

Police pulled over 52-year-old Larry Harrell at the intersection of Slappey Blvd. and Palmyra on Saturday for a routine traffic stop.

Police found meth and marijuana in the car.

Harrell faces felony charges of possession of a Schedule III narcotic, misdemeanor marijuana charges and was not given a bond.

His passenger, Steven Todd Jenkins was also arrested for probation violation.
