A group of Hispanic Churches gathered in Valdosta today to show their support for immigration reform.
The group is calling for comprehensive immigration reform , especially families who could be effected by deportation.
They want to send a message that supporters of reform do have a presence in South Georgia.
"We needed to show our presence in South Georgia. Showing that this is not something that happens in Atlanta this isn't just something that happens in the big cities it's everywhere," Rosa Miranda said.
The group hopes that more South Georgians become aware of the on going issue.
