THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) -  Two men were arrested and taken to the Thomas county jail after drug agents said they found drugs and close to $4,000 in cash inside the home.

Joseph Adams Jr., 33, and Donald Owens, 36, were sleeping inside a home at 415 North Hansell Street when drug agents arrived.

Agents said they found hydrocodone pills, marijuana, and 22 grams of cocaine inside the house.

Thomas County Narcotics and Vice Division Commander Kevin Lee said, “Fortunately for us, we didn't have to make entry into the house. The door was unlocked. It was early in the morning, they were asleep, so we actually caught them sleeping.”

Both Adams and Owens are now facing drug possession charges with the intent to distribute.
