Valdosta Police continued to investigate Thursday afternoon after a pedestrian was hit by a truck and killed early Thursday morning.
According to a press release from VPD, just after 5 a.m. 55 year old Lance Bernard Russell was on the edge of the road in the 400 block of Gil Harbin Industrial Boulevard.
55 year old Edmond Robinson's pickup truck hit Russell.
No charges had been filed as of Thursday afternoon. Police believed Robinson simply did not see Russell.
