ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Parking lot security cameras at Albany's airport are fixed.
Wednesday crews finished activating software to allow the airport to record and store footage from the seven parking lot cameras.
Transportation Director David Hamilton said he's glad the airport city technology department and camera vendors worked together for customer safety.
"It was a very cooperative effort between staff here, the technology department, including staff with the contractors. So we are up and running so we want everybody to know that when they leave their cars out there they are being monitored," said David Hamilton,Transportation Director .
The parking lot cameras were installed 3 months ago, but couldn't record until now.
