ALBANY, GA (WALB) - With drowsy driving the likely cause of that crash, police are urging all drivers to get enough rest before they get behind the wheel.
They said when you're not alert something can go wrong in a split second.
"It's dangerous anytime you're driving up and down the roads regardless. You should make sure you get enough rest and sleep and be very alert when you're driving. It only takes a couple of seconds to cause a major accident," said Cpl. Steven Banks.
Corporal Banks reminds you that drinking and driving, texting and driving, and other distractions also put people in danger on the roads.
