DECATUR CO., GA (WALB) - A Climax contractor was arrested in Decatur county after investigators said he made meth at one of his job sites.

Steven Morrison, 46, was charged with manufacturing meth.

Investigators received a tip that Morrison was cooking meth in the carport of a home on Breedlove Lane.

When deputies arrived, they found a five gallon paint bucket with a meth lab inside.

Investigator Adam Mobley with the Decatur County Sheriff's Office said, “He took sole responsibility.  He said, 'It's my meth lab, it's my stuff, it's all mine.' Honestly, a lot of them don't like to do it in their home.  They're either going to do it outside, in the woods, or in someone else's house. It's common now for them not to do it in their own homes."

The GBI called in a team to clean up.

Luckily, the meth lab was outside and none of the chemicals seeped into the drywall of the home.
