Woman arrested for burglary

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - When detectives went to investigate a burglary on West Ann Street, they found some of the stolen property, and arrested a woman where they found it, Tuesday afternoon.

 Allison Tolar and Tiffanie Colvin, told officers that someone had broken a window to get inside their home, and steal several items. 

Detectives from the VPD Burglary Crimes Unit interviewed Jessica Tate, and then arrested her and charged her with the burglary. 

"Detectives from our burglary unit went out, were able to get a search warrant for that location. Recovered all the items and returned it to the victim. During the investigation, they interviewed people from that residence and were able to make an arrest," said Lt. Aaron Kirk of the Valdosta Police Department.

Tate is charged with one count of burglary, and transported to the Lowndes County Jail. The investigation is on-going and further charges could be filed.
