ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Two fugitives featured on a CrimeSTOPPERS television special were taken into custody after family members recognized their photos.

Quanteshia Ousley and Khadigah Shealey were taken to the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office by their mothers, officials said.

The two were wanted on battery charges.

There was no immediate word on a bond amount for the two women. Their mothers did not give any comment.

Ousley and Shealey, along with 19 other "most wanted" fugitives were featured in a CrimeSTOPPERS Street Sweep broadcast.

It's purpose is to empower community members to help keep wanted criminals off the street.
