ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Tributes are pouring in for blues Legend B.B. King who died last night in Las Vegas at age 89.
The coroner says he suffered a series of small strokes connected to his long battle with diabetes.
His grandson Chris King used to live in Albany.
We talked to his father, Riley B King, Junior, the youngest of B.B.'s 15 children.
"They say he was a legend and he was loved by many many people," said Riley B. King, Jr. "He'd been all over the world and I've seen the way he treated people. He treated people like he wanted to be treated. He treated people with love and respect and that's what I loved from my dad is love and respect goes along way."
B.B. stood for Blues Boy and was Riley King Senior's stage name since he was a young musician.
