ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Dougherty County could get some new trauma equipment.
Commissioners gave the ok to apply for a grant from the Georgia Trauma Commission on Monday.
If approved, the grant would supply the county with about $14,000 worth of trauma equipment.
"It would replace our existing equipment that would eventually come out of our own funds. And the grant will purchase it for us," said Dougherty County Administrator Richard Crowdis.
Dougherty County has received the grant in the past. The deadline to apply is the end of May.
