Governor Nathan Deal signed three important bills into law at Albany State University today.
One of them was the state budget that will provide funding for A-S-U and Darton State College.
ASU is getting money to build the long-awaited Fine Arts center.
The governor said the bill signings made a little history.
"Well I learned a while ago that I've the only Governor that's ever been to in Albany to sign a piece of legislation so we made a little bit of history today as I understand it," Governor Deal said.
The other two bills the Governor signed were part of his ongoing criminal justice reform efforts.
