ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Major General John J. Broadmeadow, commanding general, Marine Corps Logistics Command, relinquished command to Maj. Gen. Craig C. Crenshaw, Tuesday morning at 8:00, during a ceremony in front of the Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany headquarters building.
Broadmeadow's next assignment will be to the J4, Logistics Directorate, with the Joint Chiefs of Staff, at the Pentagon, in Washington, D. C.
Crenshaw takes the helm at LOGCOM after serving a successful tour as the Assistant Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics Command at the Pentagon.
Major General Crenshaw says, "I think I'm prepared. Each command provides different opportunities and challenges so I think I'm prepared to meet those challenges with the great staff I'm gonna have that currently exists here at LOGCOM."
