Professionals graduate from Albany Area Chamber of Commerce leadership program

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Leadership Development graduated its first class.

The 13 graduates from non-profit organizations and businesses started the course in August.

It's designed to help professionals build their skills to become better leaders.

"We really have a great program lined up for next year and we hope to continue to build on this and most of all, we hope that our participants as well as the organizations they're from see the value and see the skills that were built by the folks that are graduating today,” said Bridges Sinyard, Chair of Leadership Development Committee.

The next program will start at the end of August.

The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce will accept applications until May 31st.
