Man gets 25 years for shooting gun in crowded parking lot

DECATUR CO., GA (WALB) - A man will spend the next 25 years in prison after firing four shots in a crowded parking lot.

A jury convicted 31-year-old Nathaniel Griffin Monday on one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Last July 4th, Griffin shot at a truck parked in a Winn Dixie Parking lot.

No one was hurt.

He must serve 25 years without parole because of his extensive criminal background.
