ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Visitor's Bureau had a unique way to thank the tourist attractions in the area. Representatives took donuts to nearly 30 hotels and tourist attractions around town this morning.
The director says it's a great way to celebrate National Travel and Tourism Week.
"This is just a great opportunity for us to go around, thank our partners, our hoteliers, and our attractions for what they do to bring tourists to town. And to just kind of celebrate the economic impact that tourism has for Dougherty County and Albany," said Director Rashelle Beasley.
This is the 32nd annual Travel and Tourism Week.
