EMS providers and Phoebe Putney memorial hospital can work better together to save lives thanks to Phoebe Community Visions and the Phoebe Foundation.

EMS in 5 area counties receive new defibrillators that can message Phoebe instantly.

The old machines weren't communicating with the hospital at all.

As a cardiac patient is being transported doctors now have the capability to see the EKG information on their cell phones or Ipads in seconds.

Dr. James Sirleaf said we can make a decision and have people ready have the cardiologist ready and have them well aware well in advance what a patient is having before the patient even gets to the emergency."

Dougherty County EMS Director said "You know time is muscle you can't replace that you can't go back and get it so this is really a great step forward for phoebe and the community."
