DAWSON, GA (WALB) -

Police say the body cameras they were wearing while making the arrests of four armed robbery suspects will help them with the investigation.

Dawson Police arrested 18-year-old Lecartierre Bridges, 17-year-old Kentravious Mounds, 17-year-old Terrell Brooks, and a juvenile over the weekend.

They were all charged with two counts of armed robbery.

Authorities say they robbed two people behind a church Friday night and got away with $25. One of the suspects had a gun.

But the video gives officers an advantage.

"They were able to video everything that went on with them interacting with the suspects and also interacting with taking pictures. These are capable of coming off and taking still shots, so it helped with identifying suspects," said Investigator Gene Shattles.

The Dawson Police Department received eight body cameras in April.
