ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The victim in a deadly Sunday night crash has been identified.
Dougherty County Police said 79-year-old Tal Crawford went airborne and crashed his Jeep Grand Cherokee into a utility pole. He died at the scene.
Power went out in the immediate area, but was later restored.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of Sylvester Road. We are working to find out from the Dougherty County coroner what caused Crawford to crash into the pole.
