Hundreds graduate from Albany Tech

Nearly 400 students received degrees, diplomas, or certificates during Albany Tech's Spring graduation tonight.

18-year-old Brandon Johnson is one of four high school students to earn an associate's degree through the Dual Enrollment Program.

The Westover High student entered the robotics academy two years ago and graduated with an electronics engineering degree.

"I feel that it is going to help find better job opportunities, help me get into colleges like Georgia Tech, Georgia Southwestern, Georgia Southern,” said Brandon Johnson, Albany Tech Graduate. “I think it's really going to help benefit me in the future as well.”

Johnson hopes to get a bachelor's degree at Georgia Southern or Georgia Southwestern earn his masters at Georgia Tech and become an electronics engineer.
