ALBANY, GA (WALB) - There may be more ways than you think to save money on your car insurance. State farms agents say staying accident and ticket free are the best ways to save money.
You also save money when you bundle your insurance with home and life insurance. There are a couple ways young drivers can have cheaper premiums too.
"If they typically have a B average in school or better and are a full time student, that's a real big discount for young drivers. Other ways are taking a defensive driving class but again there's nothing better than staying accident free," said Agent Tim Thomas.
An independent study not affiliated with state farm says Georgians pay about 3% higher than the national average for car insurance.
