One arrested, another sought in Sparks murder case

SPARKS, GA (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says they have arrested one man and are looking for another in the case of a murder.

Officers arrested Vernon Goodwin, Jr. at a residence in Valdosta, Georgia on the morning of Friday, April 24th.

He has been charged with Murder, Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime regarding the death of Adam Robinson.

Robinson was shot to death March 1st in his car in a grassy area of Rhone Street in Sparks.

Investigators also obtained warrants for Daylan Keeley on the same charges that Goodwin faces.
