ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Storms that rolled through South Georgia left a path of damage in cities and towns from high winds and heavy rain.
Reports of storm damage from Fitzgerald, Lee County, and other towns poured in after the storms subsided.
Pictures told the story of damage as WALB viewers surveyed what had happened.
Near Fitzgerald, strong winds left damage to roofs and buildings.
One photo showed what looked like a power pole crashed through a carport.
Another picture showed damage in South Lee County as trees had fallen over across streets.
One viewer from Cordele took a photo that showed a large tree that uprooted.
