ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Workers spent the day setting up for the American Cancer Society's biggest fundraiser, Relay for life.
Its going to be a fun filled night of activities for families to participate in.
Organizers say they have 300 participants registered and expect about 500 people to show up tonight.
The relay will last until 6 a.m. and they will have a different theme every hour, many folks will camp out, which they encourage people to do.
"Relay for life is the signature event for the American Cancer Society, adn through the funds that are raised we are able to provide the free services and programs to our cancer patients here in Dougherty County and its what funds the ground breaking research that the American Cancer Society does," says Elyse Atha, Relay for life Community Manager.
