THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - Thomasville's Rose Parade is set to begin Friday night at 7 and folks are ready to celebrate a 94-year-old tradition.
The entire town was beaming with excitement all day waiting for this parade.
But the Rose Show and Festival had plenty of events to keep them entertained throughout the day.
From incredible roses, to extremely creative floral displays, there's no wonder why Thomasville is named the Rose City.
Many folks said they come from out of town every year for this particular event.
They said they always leave with inspiration.
Thelma DeHart is from Madison, Florida and said, “Smelling the roses is one thing. And just the beauty of God's creation in each one is just so different. When you see these roses, it's just amazing.”
Tons of colorful floats and marching band performances will take place at the Rose Parade down Broad Street.
