ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Just in time for Earth Day, the Albany Boys & Girls Club has its own garden. Kohl's employees installed raised beds and presented the Jefferson Street Club with a check for $1,500.

"And too we want them to inspire to adopt healthy lifestyles and that incorporates not only eating nutritiously but having access to fruits and vegetables," said Marvin Laster. "We're teaching our young people the importance of being environmentally friendly also trying to instill in them a healthy lifestyle traditions especially eating nutritiously and access to fresh fruits and vegetables."

"It is just so great for kohls to be able to come in and assist and further the endeavors that they have here," said Patricia Williams, Kohls store mgr.
