VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Damage from Sunday's storm was still evident Monday in Valdosta.

A tree was uprooted in the front yard of a home on Williams St. and landed on the roof of the home.

Several other homes had trees uprooted as well and a portion of Deborah Dr. was closed because of a tree that had been partially uprooted and was in danger of falling.

Valdosta's Fire Marshal, Cpt. James Clinkscales, said Sunday's storm kept the fire department busy for a couple of hours. "We responded yesterday, in approximately a two and a half hour period, six calls where power lines were down. Within our initial calls, we also ran with car accidents," Cpt. Clinkscales explained.

As of Monday evening, there hadn't been any reports of injuries.
