ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Flint RiverQuarium does some spring cleaning today.
They held a yard sale in their business office on Pine Avenue.
Officials say it took several months to clean out their storage rooms filled with electronics, decorations and building supplies.
They say their most popular items to go were signs and aquariums.
"One of the first things that sold was that we had a street sign that said "Do Not Enter" and it sold almost immediately," said Vicki Churchman, Operations Manager. "I had a couple of young men helping me organize this yesterday and they told me that street signs can be the first thing to sell."
Churchman says the electronics will go to the Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful electronic recycling and the other items will be donated. You can call the Flint RiverQuarium for more information on the items.
