Tifton fire prevention campaign

TIFT CO., GA (WALB) -

The Red Cross is looking for volunteers to help install free smoke detectors in homes in a neighborhood where two brothers died in a fire.

Twelve-year old twins Jeremiah and Neamiah Walker died when their home on Timmons Drive caught fire in January.

Saturday, volunteers will canvass the area as part of the Red Cross Home Fire Preparedness Campaign.

They'll gather at the Church of the Nazarene on Tift Avenue at 9 am.
