ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Albany Museum of Art holds its biggest fundraiser of the year.
They celebrated their 30th Anniversary of "Lets Make a Bid" and partnership with WALB.
100 people volunteered for the event.
Callers bid on items such as a dove hunt in Argentina, rum tasting, art and spa visits.
They say the event would not be successful without help from the community.
"It's such a win win for businesses who get the publicity of their items on TV and as well as the community who gets to bid on those items and it's a great value for them and it raises money for us and helps us to maintain our mission," said Banks Margeson, Chairman of Lets Make A Bid and Trustee of the Albany Museum of Art
Margeson says their goal is to raise $50,000 for the Albany Museum of Art.
