ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It was a great day for a parade at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany.

April is the "Month of the Military Child" where the United States Armed Forces takes time to honor the children of the men and women who serve our country.

Many of those children will move five or six times and the military knows it is not easy having to changes schools and make new friends.

"It is not the same for the children. It is a different environment everytime they move. That can bring a lot of stress especially for the little ones." said Lt. Col. Nathaniel K. Robinson.

There are close to 2,000,000 children of military personnel around the world.
