Former Lowndes Viking injured in FSU practice

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WALB) -

Former Lowndes Viking Tyler Hunter tore his meniscus, on Saturday, in Florida State spring practice.

The Florida State defensive back is the sixth potential defensive starter for the 'Noles to go down and will likely have to miss the rest of spring camp.

Hunter is a fifth year senior who started all 14 games for FSU, last season.

The 5-11, 204 pound defensive back will miss about six weeks recovering from the injury.
