Members of an Albany church are kicking off Easter weekend by bagging groceries for customers at Pic N Sav.

It's all part of "Bagging for Christ." Ronald Smith, Pastor of Berachah Fellowship Church, says they want to be available to reach out to people everywhere, even at the grocery store.

Smith is hoping they will have a positive impact on those who are struggling.

"We want to be able to bag souls, people who are lost, that don't know the Lord is their personal savior. This is a great weekend, it's Easter weekend. That's why we are here this morning, loving on people, letting them know that Christ loves them," Pastor Smith said.

"The littlest thing can make a big impact on some people, like if its a smile, whether its just letting them know that we are here...that we are present, that you know where we are, that you can come to us, "Volunteer Phillip Davis said. "I think that's a really big thing."

They hope to have the event each year.
