VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Wild Adventures was gearing up Friday morning for some weekend Easter fun.
Friday morning, park employees were stuffing plastic eggs in preparation for hiding the eggs around the park, which was scheduled to begin around 6 p.m. Friday.
Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m., the park planned to hold its 2nd annual Easter egg hunt. The hunt is open to anyone who has a season pass or a ticket into the park, and there was even a special egg which comes with a big prize that was set to be hidden somewhere in the park along with the thousands of plastic eggs.
"We have ten thousand and one eggs that folks can come and hunt. The number one egg is the ostrich egg and the winner of that, whoever finds it, gets not only the artfully decorated ostrich egg but also two season passes," explained Wild Adventures Public Relations Coordinator Laurie Windham.
The park also planned to open its water park for the season on Saturday.
