Suzie Q's in Moultrie Robbed

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) - Watch as these three robbers rush into this Susie Q's in Moultrie near Highway 319. One guards the door while the others hold the clerks at gunpoint demanding money.

"It's just been happening too much here in Moultrie," said local resident Rick Foster

This is the 8th armed robbery in Moultrie in the past five weeks. And residents are getting used to the news.

"Yeah it don't surprise me a whole lot anymore," Foster said.

Moultrie police said they couldn't talk to us on camera today. The store manager said she was too frightened to go on camera, but she did tell us she wants the suspects caught. Foster says he's confident police will catch these guys.

"They gonna get caught it's just a matter of time," Foster said.

Thomasville Police believe the same guys robbed OM Convenience Store in Thomasville shortly after the Moultrie robbery.  You can see from this video, it appears the robbers are wearing the same clothes.

Both clerks who were working at Susie Q's last night are new to the store. They were not harmed, but customers fear the worst if these robberies keep happening.

"It's just you know who's going to get hurt  before they get caught," Foster said.

If you think you recognize those robbers call Moultrie or Thomasville Police.
