THOMAS CO., GA (WALB) - A man was taken into custody Wednesday night after investigators said he admitted to setting a mobile home on fire in Thomas county Tuesday.
Zachary McIntyre, 27, is charged with arson.
He told investigators he lit a candle inside a home at Best for Guest mobile home park and knocked it over, causing the home to go up in flames.
But this wasn't the only fire he confessed to starting.
Lieutenant Tim Watkins with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office said, “He admitted to setting not only that fire, but his parent's house on fire, and a fire up in Colquitt county at a Laundromat.”
McIntyre will be charged with two counts of arson in Thomas county.
Charges are pending in Colquitt county.
