Armed men rob Valdosta man, take off running

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police were trying to use surveillance video Wednesday to figure out who robbed a man at gunpoint while he was sitting in his SUV.

Darryl Booker and Michael Williams were at the Shell station at 901 Baytree Rd. around 9:45 Tuesday night when three men came up to Booker and showed a gun after Williams went into the store.

Valdosta Police Department Cpt. Bobbi McGraw said the suspects took both men's cell phones and Booker's wallet and then ran off. "They came up to him on the driver's side. One of 'em displayed a handgun and said, 'give me your money, give me your stuff in your vehicle.' The person in the vehicle, the victim, complied with that, gave 'em what he had," explained Capt. McGraw.

The suspects are described as black men, 18 to 25 years old, wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
