Five arrested in Randolph drug sweep

CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) - Randolph County Sheriff's deputies, and other agencies, made made a dozen drug arrests last week last week, as they served arrest warrants.

Sheriff Eddie Fairbanks provided a list of the suspects and their charges-

Charlie Smith,  27, Sale of Cocaine
Ellen Denise Hayes, 33, Sale of Hydrocodone
Reginald Currington, 50, Sale of Cocaine
Marcus Davis, 33, Sale of Cocaine
LaShawn Alford,  36, Sale of Cocaine

Torrey Howard, 35, will be arrested as soon as he can be served a warrant for Sale of Cocaine.

Fairbanks said the warrants were served by members of the Pataula Drug Task Force, Georgia Bureau of Investigation-Sylvester Field Office, Georgia State Patrol-Cuthbert Post, Georgia Department of Corrections-Cuthbert Probation Office, and the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.

These arrests were the result of a six month long narcotics investigation conducted by the Pataula Drug Task Force and the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
