ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A South Georgia pediatric facility holds an Easter egg hunt for their patients.
More than 500 kids hunted for eggs at East Albany Pediatrics' Easter Egg Hunt. Workers spent the week stuffing more than 5,000 eggs with candy. They also gave away gift baskets and kids got a chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Officials say it's important to give back to those they serve.
"So it's important for us to appreciate our patients and since we are the only stand alone pediatric clinic that they have in Albany we appreciate our patients by giving them an Easter Egg Hunt," said David Morris, Operations Manager. "So it's great."
East Albany Pediatrics is partnering with Albany State University on May 2nd to conduct sports physicals for their patients.
