ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An organic food market sets up shop in Albany.
The company, called White Oak Pastures, set up outside 229 Yoga today, selling all kinds or organic vegetables, meats and eggs. They also did some cooking demonstrations. The market has about 25 members in Albany. They were recently featured in the New York Times.
"We were interviewed I believe two weeks and the published article was last Wednesday," said Mary Bruce, Assistant Garden Manager. "So, it was very exciting, we are pretty excited that we had a little bit of national recognition, so it was great."
White Oak Pastures will be set up every Saturday near 229 Yoga from 8:00 a.m. until noon.
