ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice is looking for people to work at their new Terrell County facility. Organizers held a job fair Thursday at the Dawson Police Department.
The Regional Youth Development Center in Albany is being relocated to Terrell County and additional workers are needed.
"These are state positions," said DJJ Regional Recruiter Robert Long. "We want to hire people that are looking at the career aspect versus a job. We have great benefits, these are state benefits. And it's something that they can do long term."
Construction begins on the new Terrell County location this summer and is expected to be complete in August 2016.
