Marine officers tour MCLB to learn about logistics systems

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Marine Officers tour MCLB Albany to learn about how logistics systems here keep Marines around the world ready for any mission.

Students from the Marine Corps Expeditionary Warfare School from Quantico, Virginia got a taste of daily operations at MCLB and Miller Coors this afternoon.

The logistics and supply captains gained a better understanding of large-scale distribution and supply operations.

“It's been extremely beneficial for us in our occupation field or our jobs to really kind of be able to understand what are that they do for the Marine Corp,” said Nick Lybeck, Logistics officer.

"It's just been pretty amazing and I have a much greater appreciation for what logistics is,” said Matthew Scultz.

The students spend 10 months at the Expeditionary Warfare School.
