Armed robbery of Albany convenience store caught on video

Frightening surveillance video, as a Northwest Albany convenience store was robbed by three masked gunmen early Wednesday morning.

Just after one AM, the masked robbers point their guns in the faces of clerks and a customer at the Woodall's in the 1500 block of North Slappey.

The robbers took cash and ran out of the store in less than 30 seconds.

Albany Police urge victims to comply during a robbery.

Albany Police Media Manager Phyllis Banks said "It's better to save your life, because you can replace property.  So that's the motto we want people to follow by.  Make sure you comply with their demands."

If you can identify or have any information about these armed robbers, you could earn a reward.  call CRIMESTOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
