ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany woman wants help to make sure foster children have a good way to carry their belongings.
Kaley Hart is organizing a "Make A Bag" party to stuff duffle bags with hygiene kits, stuffed animals, and personal messages. Hart says it's heart breaking to watch foster children stuff their belongings in trash bags.
"You're already feeling a little traumatized or abandoned as it is being a foster child moving from home to home so at least having something that's your own will help them," said Kaley Hart, Organizer.
The party April 18th at Christ United Methodist Church will benefit Necco which serves 68 foster kids in the Albany area.
