ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A former Turner Elementary student returned home with a message he hopes will make a difference in the lives of students.
Retired Master Sergeant Tony Arnold was the featured speaker at the school's annual BETA Club induction ceremony.
Arnold is a big supporter for the BETA Club, and believes organizations like this can help students stay on the right path in school.
"My personal feeling is that we should push our kids to join organizations such as National BETA CLUB because it sets them apart from just the normal students," said Rev. Tony Arnold of Shreveport, LA.
The students spent some time talking about why they enjoy school and learning and what they would like to do when they grow up.
A reception was also held in their honor.
