GRADY COUNTY, GA (WALB) -  New servers will need to be purchased for Grady county officials, as current software support for their old servers will expire in the next few months.

The Grady County Commissioners' server was just updated a few months ago, costing close to $5,000.

Now, the county administrator says the Grady County Sheriff's Office and Tax Commissioner's Office are accepting bids for new servers.

Carlos Tobar said, “We want a good price for these two servers, and improved reliability and improved storage.  Those are the two main things.”

There are links on the county's website http://www.gradycountyga.gov/ to learn more.

Tobar said the deadline to place bids for the Tax commissioner's server will be March 27th.
