Make sure your child can be identified at the Georgia Wing Fest

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Albany Masonic Lodge wants families to take advantage of their child identification effort at the Georgia Wing Fest at the Albany Fairgrounds Saturday.

Volunteers will take DNA swabs, fingerprints, pictures, and 30-second videos of children to help with investigations if they go missing.

“We hope they never have to use this but if they do they will have this information so if the child comes up missing they can immediately take it to the police station,” said Irvin Home, Director.

The kits are free of charge.

You can take advantage of the service from 1 p.m. to 5p.m. Saturday.
