ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A man charged in the stabbing murder of another man in a motel room was found guilty on all counts in a trial Wednesday afternoon.
Lewis Floyd Jr. was charged with murder and the possession of a knife during the commission of a crime. Prosecutors said he killed William Jackson in a room at the Dollar Inn on North Slappey Boulevard on August 14, 2013.
The jury deliberated for five hours before returning the verdict.
Tara Herrell was also convicted on felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during commission of a crime.
Sentencing for the two will be held on a later date.
